Château Cousteau is located on the slopes of the commune of Monprimblanc, overlooking the river and the plain as it faces over the river to Sauterne favoring the development of noble rot. The morning mists and October sun allow the Sémillon and Sauvignon grapes to develop botrytis and ripen on the grape. This exemplary wine of its appellation is very expressive thanks to its fruit and its aromatic freshness.
Bright golden color; the nose is distinctly fruity. In the mouth the attack is generous, a fleshy wine and the finish is spicy and toasted. The wine is well balanced. It goes best with fish, exotic dishes or as a dessert with an apple pie. It can also be enjoyed as an aperitif.
