It is the most prestigious red wine of Lake Garda. This great red wine was born in Valtènesi, the area most suited to the production of important red wines. Deep ruby red in color, with great fullness, texture and elegance, it is considered one of the top wines of our cellar.
Able to age and express itself at its best in the 2 years following the harvest, it represents our philosophy of red: Authoritative, persistent and with great personality.
Grapes Variety : 90% Groppello, 10% Rebo
Production Area : Valtenesi (Polpenazze del Garda, Manerba del Garda)
Harvest time : End of September
Vinification : Manual harvest and selection of the grapes. Delicate crushing and destemming and fermentation in steel for 10/12 days. Refine for 12 months in second / third passage wood. Rest for at least 6 months in the bottle follows.
Color : Ruby red
Nose : Elegant and intense. Strong spicy note, wild strawberry and ripe fruit.
Taste : It is soft and the tannins are sweet and balanced. The entrance is savory and enveloping. It is of excellent persistence with an elegant and velvety return.
